The Smoking Ban

It is now an offence to smoke in bars, restaurants and other places in Thailand. Good! Besides the dirty air I already have to breathe in Bangkok, at least now I can take my gay Asian lover out to dinner and not smell like an ashtray when I come home. The men in brown will not actually start issuing fines until somewhere in May. I hope this one ban will work as well as the smoking ban that was already in place for aircon restaurants.
