The Baht Bus Mafia

In cities like Pattaya there is no public transport, except rude, stinking and polluting converted pick up trucks that cause traffic jams and charge foreigners double the Thai rate. There are some halfhearted attempt to introduce public buses, but the baht bus mafia seems to succeed in preventing these services from taking off. Too bad. Slutsville would be a better place to visit if they put some effort into improving public transport.
